Khadijah has 14 years of central banking experience and has held leading roles in financial consumer protection, financial sector supervision and financial stability. Participated in IMF/ World Bank financial sector assessment program for Tanzania 2018 and stress testing. Participated in fintech regulatory sandbox, gender inclusion and leadership at the Bank as well as FSPs, emerging technologies, Vision 2050, consumer protection systems and financial stability and inclusion indices development and report.

She is a facilitator for Certified Financial Educators Programs run by designated academic institutions as well of Train of Trainers for FSPs as well as Organisations. She forms the secretariat for the female Bank CEOs chaired by Deputy Governor Financial Stability and Deepening at the Bank of Tanzania on “accelerating women centric financial services and products in Tanzania.” She has been a panellist and a moderator for the various session in AFI and other organisations.

Khadijah holds a PhD in Finance from University of KwaZulu Natal south Africa, Master of Science in Finance under University of Strathclyde, UK, Bachelor of Business Administration under the Amity University, Noida, India. She is a Graduate Fellow for Fletcher Leadership Program for Financial Inclusion (FLPFI) 2024 under Fletcher School, Tufts University USA. She is Co-chair I for the Consumer Empowerment (CEMC) Working Group under the Alliance for Financial Inclusion. Graduate under the Association for Tanzanian Employers (ATE) Female Future Programme Cohort 11. Enrolled for the Women World Banking Program Leadership Development Program for Regulators 2026.
