Annika Richter

Annika Richter is a carbon markets expert focused on advancing climate action across Sub-Saharan Africa. Based in Dar es Salaam, she leads the Carbon Markets Workstream of the UK-Tanzania Green Growth Facility at Palladium, advancing the development of Tanzania’s carbon market. She is also a co-founder of the Tanzania Climate Network, a community of over 200 climate leaders in Tanzania. Her technical expertise spans carbon project development, MRV systems, and impact assessment across clean cooking, energy, waste, and forestry sectors.
