
Mohamed Mashaka
Mr. Mohamed Mashaka serves as the Director of Information Systems and Services Development at the Ministry of Information, Communications, and Information Technology, and as the Project Manager of the Digital Tanzania Project. Previously, he worked as the Assistant Director of ICT Policies and Standards for the Government at the President's Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance. He has over 15 years of professional experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) both in Tanzania and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Mashaka has also served as the Systems and Support Manager at the National Identification Authority (NIDA), where he managed the establishment of ICT infrastructure to support modern biometric technology for the national ID system. His international experience includes working with Hewlett Packard (HP Development Company) in the UK and as the Branch Manager for Financial UK Limited in Manchester, UK.
Mr. Mashaka holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland. He also holds a Project Management Certificate from the Dungannon Training Centre in Northern Ireland, UK.
